Les Mommsen is a professional audio engineer with over 20 years of experience in the Live, Broadcast and Studio industries. He has run a post production studio in North London since 2006, offering album production and mixing to independent artists. He is also “Head of Technical” at London’s award winning Union Chapel venue.
Being a grade-one listed Victorian gothic revival chapel, The Union Chapel in North London comes with its own unique set of complications for putting on a full program of dynamic live music events. Les is responsible for system design and integration at this prestigious venue as well as all technical maintenance and event production. With years of experience in this and other venues covering the UK and Europe, Les has developed sharp capabilities as a sound engineer and technical manager.
Les believes in using the best products to achieve high quality sound reproduction and approaches every event or project with the audiences experience and the artist’s ambition at the core of everything.
Owing to his experience in the audio industry, Les is also a Product Specialist for Sony Digital Wireless systems and DPA Microphones. His responsibilities include after-sales support as well as education and training on all products to ensure industry professionals get the most out of their equipment.
